Episode #49: Woo Country Lottery

This week, we're infinitely pleased to welcome the one and only Chris Sims, he of Comics Alliance and the prolific overlord of the Invincible Super Blog, as well as War Rocket Ajax podcast member and Awesome Hospital co-creator! Sit back and enjoy as we riff on the magic of wrestling, the science vs. morality conflict present in Pokemon and the many mysterious forms comics journalism can take. Will Sin Cara prosper on Smackdown? Can I justify the dark realities of EV training? Can the comics world survive in an age where people who have never read a Superman comic swear off from ever doing so en masse? The answers to at least 2 of those questions, plus many more I haven't interpreted lay within your potential to know with but one mere listen! The Sony Hacker Rap Video Revealed!

Also: trailer trash and the thrills and spills of me launching into at least one certifiable rant!

Be sure to check out some of the hilarious articles Chris has done:
One of my favorites from his majestic 'Great Comics that never happened' series!
The most emotionally overwrought World's Finest team-up ever!
Behold the greatness that is Rom!
The goldmine of comedy that is the annotated Anita Blake!
The startlingly accurate depiction of Civil War in 30 seconds!
Depressing newspaper comics!

As well as this book he has just contributed to with one of his podcast cohorts and a legion of others! Buy it and help defeat the evil of Tucker Max!

Episode #47: I'M BUSY!!

Is everyone ready for us to get down to business after last week's break? I sure hope so, otherwise I'm going to feel like a schmuck!

Anyway, we get in the square circle to discuss Jaysun super-happy-fun time at Wrestlemania and the thrill of riding ironing boards down staircases! Chris also goes all Crocodile Dundee when describing what makes a steep grade! If that wasn't exciting enough we also read some viewer mail and Michael lays out what inspired Jim Butcher's 'Codex Alera' in a new bookbusters! Get ready for thrills and spills, chills and discussion of bills on the new episode of the ORCCAcast

Episode #44: THE TITLE THAT COULDN'T FINALIZE!!!

We're back after a week break and boy we hope you missed us as much as we missed you! A lot happened in the gap so we waste no time getting to it here! Ever wonder what the Space Jockey looked like before he was all mummified-like?  Well we describe how it looked (in a Dark Horse comic anyway) as we SPECULATE on the true nature of Ridley Scott's upcoming 'Prometheus'! Before we get to that though, we've got some funkadelic music discussion for me to distract everyone with! Plus: our plans for C2E2! Express yourself with the ORCCACAST (or we'll remove "It's Raining Men" from the Jukebox)!

Episode #43: Pardon Me, Do You Have The Warlock Time?

WHO'S READY FOR SOME POST-OSCAR GENTLEMANLY DISCUSSION?!?!?!? I know we are, but that's just one of the many things we cover this week because you can thrill (and chill) to a new Top 10! Hear about the Battlestar Galactica boardgame and endure through our excitement about the release of Pokemon Black/White! What's Tarantino's next project going to be? Well, we're not sure either but that's not stopped us before! All that plus: Grand Theft Auto 5 rumors! Get ready for a ruthless massacre that only sealed envelope action can give you!

Episode #36: Don't be a Dopefish

ORCCAcast returns with a new Top Ten! This time we're button-mashing through our Top Ten Video Games of the Nineties and with games ranging from PC adventure titles to which Mario is the king of the 90's console ring, you are bound to hear an old forgotten favorite or at least get pissed off about something. Like Gabriel Knight? How about Commander Keen? We probably talk about at least one of them here! Lament about the depreciated nature of the Sonic franchise with us! Marvel at how Lucasarts was a nonstop hit factory! There's also enough time for us to ruminate on some other stuff! What kind? Well that would be telling so you should just listen instead!

Episode 9: Squindigo

Ahoy!
75% are back from Chicago, 25% are moving to new digs. And 100% of us are in the new podcast! This episode includes Blackest Night #8 spoilering, SPECULATE!, and Video Game Wrap Up. If you care about comics and haven't read Blackest Night #8, then why are you reading comics? If you don't then it doesn't matter if we spoil does it? We record tomorrow and we should have a consistent schedule starting with this week's show. If not, blame Robert, I always do! I actually don't, I blame myself...mostly...
Also, we will begin a monthly podcast with some of the crew, called It's Super Effective! Yea, it's Pokemon, but so what? It's still us and we still entertain, you'll love it.
On to Episode 9: Squindigo!
